Black Dogs Have Sweet Kisses Big black dogs are always the last to be adopted. Why? Going to the shelter is often overwhelming. Most people tend to pick the dog that stands out, instead of taking the time to get to know the individual dog's personality. The majority of the dogs in shelters are black which causes them to get overlooked. Yet black dogs usually have bloodlines of some of the most intelligent breeds, such as Labradors, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Border Collies, & Dobermans. So the next time you are at the shelter, don’t overlook the beautiful black dogs. They have just has much love to give as the white, brown, & spotted dogs.
